Parent View - Give Ofsted your view on your child's school

On Friday 4th November four members of our School Council went to the Children's Voice Conference at The Pavilions of Harrogate. Maddi, Mia, Jake and Bethany set off early with Mrs Hodgson to take part in the event along with 200 pupils from across North Yorkshire.

They had a fantastic day taking part in workshops about life as a child in North Yorkshire, learning about refugees who come to the county and need our help, discussing and debating how we can make a difference in our schools and communities and listening to an inspirational speech from multi-medal winning, Paralympian Kadeena Cox.

The children have lots of great ideas to bring back to school including surveys to make sure ALL pupils at All Saints can share their views and opinions, fundraising for people who have less than we do and ideas for family events that can be arranged. One of the main areas that was mentioned in each part of the day was the importance of close family, school and community links which is something All Saints are quite good at!
