A Day in the Life of a Roman Legionary
Posted 7/6/2016
Class 3 had a fantastic day in York at the Yorkshire Museum. We dressed up as Roman Soldiers, played games, decoded Roman numerals, practised marching and were tested to see if we could sign up to be a Roman Legionary. Luckily we were all a little too short!
After lunch we explored the museum and learnt more about Roman York and finding skeletons in the toilets!
Water Cycle Models
Posted 7/6/2016
We have been making models of the water cycle today after the chidren designed and planned their models for homework.
We had a wide variety of models - all brilliantly designed and executed. From well labelled 3D pictures and water cycle shoe boxes to working models in plastic tubs where we could see the processes of evaporation, condensation and precipitation before our eyes!
Great Scientific thinking Class 3!
